| Lima Metro project in Peru receives recognition Lima Metro project received the distinction "Emblematic Work of the Biennium 2010-2011" by the National Council of the College of Engineers of Peru. The award was presented at the Museum of the Nation in the celebration of the 49th anniversary of the College of Engineers. Enrico Cornejo, Minister of Transport and Communications was present and received the recognition on behalf of the President of the Republic. Representatives of the main contractor, consultants, client and other parties were invited to join the minister. Robert Jungkind, Project manager of the consortium formed by Pöyry and Cesel, received the award for Pöyry. In addition, President of Cesel, Raúl Delgado received the highest honor afforded by the College of Engineers in Peru: "The Order of Engineering" for his extraordinary trajectory and support of the engineering profession. The project has generated work for 5 000 people.
