| NCC to build schools and daycare center in Finland NCC Construction Finland is to build two schools and a daycare center on behalf of Haukipuda Municipality in northern Finland. The project will be conducted in accordance with a lifecycle model whereby, in addition to construction, it also includes maintenance of the buildings. In total, the transaction is worth approximately SEK 300 million. Construction of the schools and the daycare center will be the responsibility of NCC Construction Finland, which will also account for maintenance over a period of 25 years. Pohjola Bank Abp is responsible for financing the lifecycle model and will own the properties, which will then be leased to Haukipuda Municipality. In total, the schools and the daycare center will account for approximately 13,000 square meters of floor space. In addition to financing, planning and construction, the lifecycle model also includes maintenance of the objects for 25 years. The present value of the lifecycle cost of the project throughout the contractual period is approximately SEK 300 million. Of the total, the construction contract is worth about SEK 225 million. Work on the project will start in July 2011.
