| Hines announces new appointment Hines, the international real estate firm, announced that Jim Dunlop joined Hines as a Vice President-Development in the firm's East Region in D.C. His focus will be to coordinate the firm's multifamily activities throughout the east working with the regional team and Alan Patton, Hines' Senior Vice President and head of the Multifamily Division in the firm's corporate headquarters in Houston. Dunlop was most recently Senior Vice President for ZOM Development, Inc. in D.C., where he managed the company's multifamily real estate development operations for the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President-Development for Archstone-Smith's Northeast region, and was responsible for the firm's residential developments in New York, Boston and Chicago.
