Esther Koplowitz's fellow shareholders reaffirm confidence in FCC

Eurocis, S.A. and Larranza XXI, S.L. have reaffirmed their confidence in FCC and its core shareholder, Esther Koplowitz, by signing an agreement to maintain their stake in B-1998, S.L. for at least another 6 years. Esther Koplowitz is the core shareholder of B-1998, S.L., which controls 53.8% of FCC.

Eurocis and Larranza XXI became shareholders of B-1998 in July 2004 and January 2005, respectively; each owns slightly more than 5%. They will maintain their stakes in B-1998 until at least 2016, evidencing their continued confidence in the value, development and growth of FCC.

The core shareholder of Eurocis is Cartera Deva, which is represented on FCC's Board of Directors by Jaime Llantada Aguinaga. Larranza XXI, owned by Grupo Bodegas Faustino, is represented on FCC's Board by Lourdes Martínez Zabala. Both are external proprietary directors representing B-1998.

FCC will hold its annual General Meeting of Shareholders on Wednesday, 1 June, at which the 2010 financial statements and distribution of income will be submitted for approval. FCC's Board of Directors will propose the distribution of a supplementary dividend of 0.715 euro per share; together with the interim dividend of the same amount paid in January 2010, the total dividend for the year will amount to 1.43 euro per share, i.e. one of the most attractive yields on the Spanish market.
