| Bilfinger Berger wins major order in Belgium German construction giant Bilfinger Berger has won a major order in the Belgian biotechnology sector. In Geel, the company will install a biotechnological production facility for Genzyme, part of the Sanofi pharmaceutical group. The order has a volume of approximately €30 million. With the new order, Bilfinger Berger Industrial Services continues its growth in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The core element of the new facility is two production lines, each with a 4,000-litre bioreactor for the production of medication for an enzyme deficiency disease. Bilfinger Berger is responsible for the apparatus assembly and the piping systems.
