| Total of 1MW in solar modules to 105 dairy farms in Japan Kyocera announced that it has supplied a total of 1.05-megawatts (MW) of solar modules to 105 dairy farms in the Hamanaka-cho Agricultural Cooperative in Hokkaido, Japan. To date this marks the largest order of solar modules for agricultural use in the country. Approximately 5,000 modules are being supplied in 10kW installations to 105 dairy farms for a total of 1.05MW. Annually, the installations will generate a total of 1,210,000kWh, saving the farmers a total of approx. USD375,000 on electricity bills, and off-setting about 380 tons of CO2.
