| Pöyry experts speaking at World Tunnel Congress Finland's Pöyry said its several tunnelling professionals will be speaking in the ITA-AITES World Tunnel Congress 2011, which will be held in Helsinki, Finland on 20-26 May. This event will gather the tunnelling professionals from all around the world. This year the congress will focus on underground spaces in the service of a sustainable society. The congress themes include traffic and logistics, municipal services, geologic disposal of nuclear waste and renewable energy. Pöyry experts from Finland, Switzerland and Austria will present the new developments and modern methods for instance in tunnel system design and geophysical investigations. The presentations will include case examples of road, rail and water tunnels, such as Uetliberg drinking water gallery in Zurich, Switzerland and E18 highway tunnels in Finland.
