Buildex: International premiere event in Moscow

IMAG, Germany´s oldest international trade fair company, has further expanded its portfolio of trade fairs for the construction sector, to include a brand new event in Moscow: Buildex, an international-standard trade fair for building, architecture and design which premieres between 3 and 6 April 2012 at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center. Also involved in this launch are renowned Russian partners – Media Globe Moscow, an organiser of trade fairs, the organisers of the exhibition centre Crocus Expo, and the major publishing house Krasivie Doma, as the media partner. IMAG, which benefits from the global network of foreign representatives of its parent company, Messe München, is the international partner responsible for global marketing. The event is aimed at the high-value end of the sector, and its target audience is primarily building firms, building developers, architects and designers, engineers and importers.

The product groups covered by the exhibition include building materials, tools and equipment, electrical equipment, heating and ventilation systems, windows, doors and fittings, decoration materials, bathrooms and interiors, and commercial interiors.

The target market is companies from the whole of Russia and the countries of the CIS. Buildex is the only trade fair of its kind to be held at the Crocus Expo Center, and it will reach the key decision-makers in the building industry in Russia and the CIS. The broad spectrum of products and services gathered together in a single exhibition venue is particularly important for trade visitors who travel great distances to the fair from the regions.

Although the impact of the economic and financial crisis is still evident, the Russian market is and remains attractive to international companies in the building industry.

The climate for investment in Russia is improving, because of the enormous backlog of demand – particularly in the building industry. Experience has proven that the international exhibitors at building fairs in Moscow are impressed by the strong interest and sector expertise of the Russian visitors.
