| Work completed on new Southampton hotel Construction work has been completed on a 155-bedroom Premier Inn Hotel, forward funded by clients of LaSalle Investment Management at Harbour Parade Southampton, which is expected to open on 2nd May 2011. LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Gerald Eve and regional agent Goadsby, to find leisure operators or retailers for three brand new units which also form part of the ground floor of the new hotel. The development sits conveniently opposite the West Quay Shopping Centre – the south coasts premier shopping destination. This will be further enhanced by a £150m mixed-use redevelopment by Hammerson Plc of the former Pirelli site, which is directly opposite the new Premier Inn.
