| JGC subsidiary awarded project in Indonesia JGC Indonesia, JGC Corporation's Indonesian subsidiary, has been awarded a contract for the construction of a lubricants production plant in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia by PT. JX Nippon Oil & Energy Lubricants Indonesia, a local joint venture between JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corporation (80%) and Andalan Group (20%). The contract, awarded on a lump-sum turnkey basis, calls for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) for the lubricants plant, as well as commissioning support. The plant will have a production capacity of 40,000 kiloliters/year of lubricating oils, and is scheduled for completion in March of 2012. The purpose of the project is to provide PT. JX Nippon Oil & Energy Lubricants Indonesia with a new production base for lubricant oils for sale in the expanding domestic market. JGC Indonesia has over 600 employees and more than 30 years of experience working on local projects as the regional arm of JGC Corporation.
