| Impregilo wins motorway tender in Romania Italian construction giant Impregilo has won the engineering and construction tender for lot three of the Orastie-Sibiu motorway, awarded by the National Highways & Motorways Company of Romania (CNADNR). The contract is worth approximately 144 million euro, with funding provided 85% by the European Community and the remaining 15% by the Romanian government. Under the contract, Impregilo is to build a 22.1 kilometre stretch of motorway, with each carriageway having two lanes and a hard shoulder, for a total width of 26 metres. Key civil works will include construction of an 80 m high viaduct for a length of approximately one kilometre.
