| Pöyry awarded assignment for supervision consultancy in India Pöyry's Water & Environment business group has been awarded a EUR 1.2 million contract by the Jammu & Kashmir Reconstruction Agency, funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under the Jammu & Kashmir Urban Sector Development Programme. The value of the contract has been included in the order stock of the first quarter 2011. The assignment is estimated to be completed in 2014. The work starts immediately. The initial contract which focuses on the town of Srinagar may be extended in future to other towns like Baramula, Anantnag and Kargil. Pöyry's services include the preliminary and detailed design, the preparation of tender documents as well as the construction supervision. Main project components are the improvement of the urban infrastructure for water supply, wastewater, solid waste management and roads. The project's investment cost amounts to EUR 47 million.
