| Jacobs receives contract from United Utilities Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced that it was awarded a four year contract from United Utilities, one of the United Kingdom's largest water companies, for the provision of AMP5 topographical and utility surveying services. The total framework agreement is valued at approximately $2.5 to $3million. The base contract period is four years with a two-year extension option related to good performance. The total period is expected to besix years. Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is expected to provide technical services including topographical, hydrographical and measured building surveys, utilitylocation andmapping, 3D laser scanning surveys, deformation monitoring, GPS network design and production of high specification 3D model drawings.
