| URS to provide services for FEMA URS Corporation has been awarded a contract by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide technical and research services to the agency's Federal Insurance and Mitigation Administration's Risk Reduction Division, Building Science Branch. The Building Science Branch is a technical services bureau that develops and produces technical guidance and tools focused on fostering a disaster-resilient built environment. Under the terms of the contract, URS will be responsible for providing a team of experts for field assessments or investigations, research, guidance development, and architectural and engineering coordination and analysis.
