| Amec awarded contract by Teesside Gas and Liquids Processing Amec, the international engineering and project management company, has been awarded a £32 million engineering, procurement and construction contract by Teesside Gas and Liquids Processing (TGLP) for the modification and extension of the Teesside Gas Processing Plant (TGPP) at Seal Sands, Middlesbrough, UK. AMEC will commence the work immediately, with completion scheduled in April 2012. On completion, the work will allow the TGPP facility to receive natural gas from operator RWE Dea's Breagh field, one of the North Sea's largest recent gas discoveries, which is located approximately 100 kilometres southeast of Teesside.
