Oldenburg's new city center attraction opens doors

Oldenburg's new city center attraction celebrates its premiere: on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, the new Schlosshöfe shopping center located in the city center of the university city opens its doors after a construction period of around two years. Distributed on three floors, a branch mixture tailor-made for the city and the Weser-Ems region is presented by around 100 specialist stores, cafés, restaurants and service companies. A culture lounge with roof terrace and open-air gastronomy is also part of the concept. It is to be open for exhibitions, readings, theater productions and receptions, and will be open as of May. Schlosshöfe provides a sales area of approx. 12,500 m², as well as more than 900 m² of office space and approx. 430 parking spaces.
