| Sennebogen 7700 on large construction site in Duisburg  In keeping with this new Sennebogen crawler crane top model, this first-time use is at the building site for the imposing new Central Vocational College in Duisburg. With an investment volume of around 60 million Euros for the construction work, when finished, the project will offer approximately 55,900 square metres of space for modern workshops, laboratories and classrooms for around 2,600 students in various disciplines. The Goldbeck Company will supply the planning and construction services as well as the financing and operating services for the Vocational College for the next 25 years. Completion is planned for September 2011.The Sennebogen 7700, with a maximum load of 300 tons, will be used for the erection of the administration building and will be configured with a 29.9 m main boom and a 41.1 m luffing jib. This creates the necessary large working radius of up to 60 m. Heavy prefabricated concrete parts of up to 24 tons, steel parts and containers can be quickly, precisely and safely lifted into the required position. Movement under load is guaranteed through the robust running gears with a maximum of 1, 500 mm width and 200 tons drive force, ensuring maximum flexibility on site.
