| CertainTeed's innovative products for the HVAC industry  At the 2011 International Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition in Las Vegas, CertainTeed Corporation showcased its innovative, sustainable products to the HVAC industry. CertainTeed led 40-minute educational sessions, dealing with IAQ topics like moisture and mold prevention, fiber erosion, and acoustics in duct assemblies. Visitors to the booth could also use the CertainTeed-branded Quick Response code mobile smartphone app to access product information. Products that were showcased at the CertainTeed exhibit are included below. – WideWrapTM Duct Wrap is a foil scrim kraft (FSK)-faced flexible fiberglass blanket insulation used to insulate the exterior of rectangular and round heating, ventilating and air conditioning ductwork to provide enhanced thermal efficiency that reduces unwanted heat loss or gain. The product features a 5-foot width that eliminates the need for additional fabrications, ultimately reducing labor costs and jobsite waste. – ToughGard T Textile Duct Liner, with 75 percent recycled content, insulates metal ducts for the life of the HVAC system against heat loss or gain, while reducing sound transmission over a broad frequency spectrum. The product features the renowned ToughGard airstream facing for outstanding water holdout combined with an EPA-registered biocide. ToughGard T now has a black mat to match the facing and help contribute to cleaner-looking installations. It is GREENGUARD Children & Schools certified. – ToughGard R Rotary Duct Liner, with 60 percent recycled content insulates metal ducts for the life of the HVAC system against heat loss or gain, while reducing sound transmission over a broad frequency spectrum. The product features the renowned ToughGard airstream facing for outstanding water holdout combined with an EPA-registered biocide. It is GREENGUARD Children & Schools certified. – Ultra Duct Black Duct Board replaces metal duct systems with an industry-proven, easy, low cost system that provides exceptional thermal and acoustic performance. The duct board has lower air leakage than sealed metal duct systems (ACCA Manual D). – ToughGard Duct Board replaces metal duct systems with an industry-proven, easy, low cost system that provides thermal and acoustic performance. The duct board contains the ToughGard airstream surface for outstanding water holdout combined with an EPA-registered biocide. ToughGard duct board has lower air leakage than sealed metal duct systems (ACCA Manual D) and is GREENGUARD Children & Schools certified. – SoftTouch Duct Wrap with Sustainable Insulation is proven and reliable fiberglass technology with no formaldehydes, dyes, or acrylics added.
