| State Theatre Centre opened with theatre in memory of Heath Ledger West Australian Governor Dr Ken Michael and Premier Colin Barnett officially opened the £100m State Theatre Centre in Perth last week, with a 575-seat theatre dedicated to late Australian actor Heath Ledger. Designed by Kerry Hill Architects, the State Theatre Centre has been more than five years in the making and is comprised of a 234-seat underground studio, multipurpose outdoor space, and multiple rehearsal rooms with state-of-the-art equipment.
