| FCC wins Toronto subway contract Spanish environmental services and infrastructure group Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas, FCC, has won a €304 million contract to extend Toronto's subway. The project adds to FCC's recent win of subway projects in large cities worldwide including London's Crossrail. The extension of the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension, includes the construction of a 4.5 kilometer-long subway section, with a depot area and three stations: York University Station, Steeles West and Highway 407 Station. The latter will be newly built and will also include a bus depot and an open-air car park with 600 parking places.
