| Bilfinger Berger builds new urban district in Munich German construction firm Bilfinger Berger will build The Seven, a new urban district in Munich's downtown core, for about €60 million. The development features apartments, offices and commercial space on the grounds of a former thermal power plant and will be completed by the end of 2012. The clients are alpha invest Projekt GmbH and LBBW Immobilien Capital GmbH. The power plant's 56-meter high machine tower will be retained as an industrial monument and converted into the tallest residential building in the downtown core. In addition, a new five-floor atrium building will be built on the 14,000 square meter grounds.
