| Stone+tec comes at a good time  Stone+tec Nürnberg 2011, which takes place in the Nürnberg exhibition centre from 22–25 June, comes at a good time. Despite the weakness of some individual members, the economic signs for the majority of the EU countries and the neighbouring countries indicate growth again. In Germany alone, the forecast for 2010 has been corrected upwards in December for the second time. Experts currently assume that the gross domestic product will grow by 3.6 per cent, which would be the strongest growth since German reunification. The main factor for this growth is the continuing big demand from abroad. The forecasts for the euro zone are somewhat lower, but also clearly in the positive range.At Stone+tec Nürnberg 2011, many companies from all over the world again make use of the advantage of being present at the heart of this interesting market. For example, exhibitors at the exhibition again present their products in pavilions that reflect the extensive and varied range of stone from certain countries and regions. Italy as one of the classic natural stone countries has a machinery construction industry with a long tradition as well as its stone deposits.
