| Arcadis expands sustainability services in Germany Dutch engineering consultancy Arcadis announced that it has acquired the Gesellschaft für oekologische Bautechnik mbH (GFOEB), a Berlin-based consulting company that specializes in sustainability services for buildings. Arcadis acquires the business of GFOEB through an asset deal with effect on January 1, 2011. Established in 1985 and currently with 15 employees, GFOEB delivers consulting services to support their clients in building optimisation with respect to sustainability, energy consumption, application of environmentally responsible building methods and materials and improvement of the ecological balance of buildings.
