| Skanska acquires leading construction company in Slovakia Skanska is to acquire all shares in the Slovakian company SkyBau, which builds cast-in-place concrete structures. The acquisition strengthens Skanska's position in the building construction sector in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. SkyBau is a subcontractor in the construction sector and carries out inplace casting of concrete structures in primarily Slovakia, but also conducts operations in the Czech Republic and Germany. This type of activity was previously not performed by Skanska's Slovakian construction operation.
