| Skanska establishes new unit in Norway Swedish construction giant Skanska is to launch a new unit to develop its own projects in the Norwegian office premises market. Jörgen Eriksson has been appointed President of the operation. Skanska Commercial Development Norway has acquired its first land area in central Oslo and is actively looking for more land acquisitions. Skanska is working actively to find land that can be developed to provide new, exciting, green offices in Norway. Initially, the operation will focus on the Oslo area, but other growth locations may also be of interest. Jörgen Eriksson has been appointed President of Skanska Commercial Development Norway, which is part of Skanska Commercial Development Nordic, which develops offices, volume retail trade and logistics properties in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and now also Norway. Jörgen Eriksson has worked at Skanska for 25 years. Most recently, he has been responsible for the project development in the Swedish construction operation.
