| European Coatings Congress: On the cutting edge of the industry The European Coatings Congress and European Coatings Show in 2011 will again live up to their leading international role in all segments of the production of high-grade and competitive coatings, paints, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives. Four months before its start at the end of March 2011, the European Coatings Show has already exceeded the size of the previous event in 2009 – and is still growing! The congress traditionally begins a day before the exhibition:the congress runs from 28–30 March and the exhibition from 29–31 March 2011. The close proximity of the two events in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg creates many synergies and networking opportunities. The eleventh edition of the European Coatings Congress again promises to be a highlight. Many abstracts have been submitted to the European Coatings Congress committee over the past weeks in response to the Call for Papers. These proposals for papers from experts all over the world have been examined and selected according to their topicality and a congress programme has been compiled to the usual excellent standard.
