| Lafarge says 'thank you' to the people of Fredonia, KS This fall, Lafarge Midwest, a subsidiary of Lafarge North America, had the privilege of saying "thank you" to the people of Fredonia, KS for their continuous support of Lafarge's Fredonia cement plant. During the summer, Fredonia officials approached Lafarge for assistance in conducting major maintenance on the tall flag pole located at Flag Park. Sean Brennan, the Lafarge Fredonia Plant Manager, immediately agreed to help. Over the period of two weeks in September, the employees and management of the Lafarge Fredonia cement plant had the privilege of working with Fredonia's Flag Restoration Committee, the City of Fredonia maintenance teams, Alert Construction, TCI Fabrication and Relph's Machining in the restoration of Flag Park in Fredonia, KS.
