| Hochtief to reaffirm forecast German builder Hochtief today reaffirmed its forecast for the current business year. According to this forecast, the Group continues to expect new orders and order backlog to be above the prior-year level, sales roughly on a par with 2009, and profit before taxes and consolidated net profit slightly above last year's figure. All this despite adverse effects on the profits of Australian subsidiary Leighton which made an announcement to its shareholders in this respect this morning. If Leighton succeeds in selling, as announced, a minority stake in its Indian business, this could have an additional positive effect on Hochtief's profit. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Construction News :: home page |
