| Systra takes part in "Rencontres de l’Ingénierie" forums French firm Systra is to play a major part in the 9th " Rencontres de l'Ingénierie " Engineering forum, organised by SYNTEC Ingénierie at CNIT / La Défense on 21st October. The theme of the conference is "Energy challenges and the international context : towards a shared vision about our choice of future solutions." In the "Showcasing Technology and Innovation" area, the company will present permeable tramway track - a technological breakthrough developed by Systra's tramway track team. The track, laid on longrines, no longer requires concreting between the rails. This not only saves money, but it also means that the turf covering can be laid directly in contact with the ground, thus considerably reducing or even eliminating the need for watering. Yves Bozzi, France Executive Vice President, will chair round table n°5, developing cities around mobility : from infrastructure to use. Two young engineers from the Transport Systems department, Virginie Raoul and Delphine Saison, will be reporters respectively for the round table discussions n°3 : convergence of water, energy, and environment – new prospects and n°9 : energy performance in buildings and European practices. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Construction News :: home page |
