Acrex India still growing

In hardly any other country are the current growth prospects for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry as good as in India. Ashish Rakheja, Chairman of Acrex India 2011 explains: "Foreign and domestic companies are investing heavily in the building sector. Energy-efficient developments for cooling and ventilation of production plants, workplaces and private households are in great demand." Acrex India 2011 in the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi, India, from 24–26 February 2011 takes this need into account. It creates an international platform for more than 400 exhibitors and 50,000 trade visitors to exchange knowledge on refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, ventilation and building technologies. The organizer of Acrex India 2011 is the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE). The NürnbergMesse Group is supporting ISHRAE with the organization and worldwide marketing communication of South Asia's biggest exhibition for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.

Because of the favourable economic conditions in India, the organizer ISHRAE and the NürnbergMesse Group expect new records for the twelfth Acrex India in the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi, India, in 2011. Over 400 exhibitors and more than 50,000 trade visitors – including from Asia, Europe and the USA – will find the opportunity to source information about innovations from the refrigeration and air conditioning industry on the just under 30,000 square metres of display space. Acrex India 2011 promotes dialogue between exhibitors and visitors with several networking events and sitting areas that allow a quiet talk in a pleasant atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of exhibition activity.

The Fire & Safety Pavilion is a new feature at Acrex India 2011. The theme pavilion, which is supported by the Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI), deals with products and services from the fire protection and industrial safety segments. The Indian society's growing need for security creates excellent growth prospects for this market.

Many technical workshops on topical issues like low-carbon communities and zero-energy cities, refrigeration or data centres round off the supporting programme at Acrex India 2011.

The premiere of fensterbau/frontale India takes place parallel to Acrex India 2011 in the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi. This gives exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to obtain extra information on cross-sector issues concerning the two sectors.
