| Pöyry publishes its revised Code of Conduct Nordic-based Jaakko Poyry Oy, the largest forestry and engineering consulting company in the world, is committed to continually strengthening its ethical rules and procedures. In line with this, Pöyry has revised its Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standard of behaviour for everyone who works for Pöyry - both employees and business partners. The Code of Conduct reiterates Pöyry's zero tolerance for corruption, bribery, anti-competitive practices, discrimination or harassment of any kind. The Code of Conduct is applied without exception across all countries and in all areas of operation. In order to ensure the implementation of the Code of Conduct, a group-wide Compliance Programme will be established after the Code of Conduct has been published. In order to support and be part of the global effort to counter corruption, Pöyry has in October 2010 committed to the World Economic Forum's "Partnering against Corruption Initiative" (PACI). The World Economic Forum is an independent international organisation committed to improving the state of the world by engaging leaders in partnerships to shape global, regional and industry agendas. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Construction News :: home page |
