| Amec appoints new President of Earth & Environmental UK-based engineering services giant Amec announces that Dr Hisham Mahmoud has joined as President of its Earth & Environmental business. He has also been appointed to the company's Group Management Team and will be based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. He replaces Roger Jinks who is retiring from the company. Mr Jinks served as President, Earth & Environmental since 2000, overseeing a period of rapid growth during that time. Dr Hisham Mahmoud, born in Doha, Qatar, joins Amec from URS Corporation, and has more than 19 years of experience with URS and its predecessor companies Dames & Moore and Woodward Clyde.
