| Thiess to improve water and sewerage network in SEQ Australia Australian mining and construction company Thiess Pty Ltd said it has awarded a $105 million contract by Queensland Urban Utilities to upgrade the Goodna Water Reclamation Plant in Ipswich, South East Queensland. The water reclamation plant upgrade was part of a record $268.9 million capital works program for 2010-11. The upgraded plant will have a capacity to treat nearly 20 megalitres of wastewater per day compared to the current 13 megalitres of wastewater per day.
