| Ramboll acquires Norwegian rail company  Two engineering firms with leading knowledge are brought together, aspiring to play a major role in Norwegian and international rail projects. Ramboll has acquired Rail-X, one of Norway's leading companies delivering rail related consultancy services. The acquisition enables Ramboll to contribute to Norway's rapid growth of investments in rail and public transport.Rail-X will be an independent unit in Ramboll, and will play the leading role in Ramboll's rail consultancy services in Norway. Rail-X will be organised as part of the office in Oslo. Rail-X AS is an independent consultancy with 17 experts with major supplier and customer experience. Rail-X staff has competence in the fields of traffic management, remote management, signaling systems, telecom, safety, revision, risk management, rolling stock and information systems.
