| BAM Clough receives letter of intent for contract in PNG BAM International bv, operating company of Royal BAM Group, together with engineering and construction company Clough Ltd has received a Letter of Intent from Chiyoda JGC Joint Venture to proceed with the design and construct of the LNG and condensate offloading jetty for the Papua New Guinea (PNG) LNG project. The contract is valued at approximately USD 260 million (more than EUR200 million). Engineering, procurement and planning work for the project has already commenced under a separate work order. The LNG and condensate jetty will be constructed adjacent to the planned LNG facility twenty kilometres northwest of Port Moresby on the coast of the Gulf of Papua, utilising an anticipated workforce of up to 500. The scope includes the design and construction of a 2.4-kilometre-long trestle with substation platform, loading platform and single berth. The contract period is 30 months, completion is scheduled for year-end 2012. BAM Clough JV is a 50/50 joint venture between BAM International bv and Clough Ltd.
