| Pöyry awarded road works inspection project in Argentina Finland's Pöyry has been awarded a contract for the inspection of works in the provincial road #28 in Argentina by the Road Infrastructure National Programme. The value of Pöyry's services is 1.0 million EUR. Pöyry is carrying out this Inter-American Development Bank financed project in cooperation with the Argentinean company IATASA. The technical services are to be provided during 36 months. The aim of this program is to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of Northern Argentina as well as to contribute to the sustainable economic development and to increase the inhabitants' living standards, leading to greater economic productivity and social welfare through environmentally sustainable provincial road networks. The scope of the works includes 70 km of paving works of existing road, the construction of a concrete viaduct and a concrete bridge and works for protection against erosion and repairing of existing hydraulic works.
