| Bilfinger Berger manages shopping center in Kazakhstan The spectacular Khan Shatyr shopping and entertainment center in the Kazakh capital, Astana, for which German construction giant Bilfinger Berger will take over center and facility management, was formally opened in a ceremony last week by the president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nasarbajew. The largest shopping and leisure center in Central Asia was designed by the distinguished architect Lord Norman Foster. At 150 meters, it is the tallest tented roof construction in the world.
