| Cegelec to modernise control system of GASCO NGL extraction plant French engineering firm Cegelec will replace the existing turbine control systems for the two production trains of the GASCO NGL extraction plant in Bu Hasa, Abu Dhabi. The US$ 7 million contract with GASCO provides for a complete retrofit of six control systems during scheduled shutdowns with a minimum downtime. The upgrade for one train will take place still this year while the second one is to be performed at the end of 2011. Cegelec has a long-standing relationship with GASCO. It completed back in 2005 the Bu Hasa Integrated Control System project (HICS) regarding the plant's control room modernisation.
