| Skanska to expand airport terminal in Boston, USA Skanska has secured the assignment to expand and renovate Logan International Airport, in Boston, in the U.S. The contract amount totals USD 48 M, approximately SEK 375 M, which will be included in order bookings for the second quarter. The customer is The Massachusetts Port Authority, Massport, which develops, promotes and manages airports, the seaport and transportation infrastructure in Massachusetts and New England. The project involves renovation of the baggage-handling system and check-in hall in Terminal C. A new shell space will also be constructed to connect with a planned future extension. In addition, the terminal's HAVC system is to be replaced, which includes installation of the ceiling, sprinklers, lighting and the electrical and telecommunications systems. Skanska's assignment includes preconstruction services including planning, cost estimates, logistics and procurement. Work on the site will commence immediately and is scheduled to be completed in 18 months.
