ICSC announces winners of European Shopping Center Awards

The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) has announced the 2010 European Shopping Center Awards Winners. 19 centers made it onto the short list of finalists representing eight countries across Europe. 5 are full award-winners, 4 have commendations and one has a special certificate of Merit.

Every year, ICSC Europe presents awards to the best new and refurbished or extended retail developments in Europe. Acknowledged to be the most prestigious awards within the Industry, the 2010 Awards were presented at the 35th ICSC Europe Conference from 28-29 April 2010 in Prague, The Czech Republic.

Entries this year competed in six categories: Small New Centers (less than 30,000 m²), Medium New Centers (30,000 – 45,000 m²), Large New Centers (45,000 – 80,000 m²), Very Large Centers (Over 80,000 m²), Refurbishment and Extensions and Specialized Centers.

All European winners will be automatically submitted to the 2010 ICSC International Awards Program to be announced in December 2010.
