| Kone wins an order for Raffles City Chengdu Finnish lift and escalator maker Kone has won an order to supply 38 elevators, 22 escalators and 6 autowalks for the five towers of Raffles City Chengdu, a new landmark building in the capital of Sichuan Province. Altogether, Kone will deliver 19 Kone MiniSpace elevators, 12 Kone MonoSpace elevators, 6 Kone double-deck elevators, 1 Kone TranSys freight elevator, 22 Kone TravelMaster escalators and 6 autowalks. Together these solutions will ensure the energy-efficient people flow for the consumers, tourists and businesspeople who will be working, living and shopping in the building complex. Chengdu Raffles Plaza has been designed by world-renowned American architect Steven Holl and is being developed by Capitaland China. It is the third Raffles City project in China.
