| New line of dimming and fan speed controls Leviton Manufacturing Company has expanded its line of architectural wall box dimmers and fan speed controls with a family of 120-277 VAC, 60Hz rated- Renoir II box-mounted lighting controls. The new line of dimming and fan speed controls combines robust performance features with elegant styling and is ideal for a wide range of commercial applications, including multi-location architectural dimming environments requiring up to 5-way control operation. "Renoir II is an important step forward in dimmer design with models to control virtually all 120 through 277 lighting loads," said Richard Westfall, vice president and general manager, Leviton Lighting Management Systems. "The new thin form factor and multi-location dimming capability make Renoir II the most versatile dimmer line on the market today." Available in a large selection of colors, Renoir II models include: 1) preset slide with thin heat sink; 2) preset slide with standard heat sink; and, 3) rotary control with standard heat sink. The thin heat version is ideal for applications requiring an aesthetically pleasing installation that doesn't compromise efficient heat dissipation. All Renoir II dimmers afford reliable, solid-state control, saving energy, extending bulb life and reducing maintenance costs. Renoir II Fan Speed Controls integrate Super Silent Technology (SST) to consolidate fully variable and fully quiet fan speed controls into a single unit. Renoir II wall plates are available in a wide range of colors, four metal finishes and field-paintable versions for precise color matches. For added design flexibility, users can create their own unique look by mixing and matching different device colors with different wallplate colors. Renoir II is suitable for a wide range of commercial applications, including use in conference rooms, ball rooms, restaurants and open areas of buildings where lighting energy management and carbon footprint reduction are critical initiatives. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Construction News :: home page |
