| Assessing the environmental impact of wind farms in Finland Recently Danish consulting firm Ramboll has carried out Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) for three major offshore wind farms in the Gulf of Botnia, Finland. PVO-Innopower Oy, affiliate of the energy production company Pohjolan Voima, plans new offshore wind farms at Kristiinankaupunki and Haukipudas. Also there are plans to expand the existing Ajos wind farm in Kemi in the future.
