| HNTB to construct support services for Long Beach Airport  The City of Long Beach recently extended HNTB's contract to provide as-needed airport planning, engineering and architectural consulting services for the reconstruction of the entire air carrier ramp at Long Beach Airport.HNTB will provide design and construction support services for the four-phase project which consists of the reconstruction of 10 existing aircraft parking positions; the addition of two new aircraft parking positions; regrading the ramps; and improving drainage to meet National Fire Protection Association standards. The construction of Phase 1 and the design of Phase 2 currently are underway.
