| Upgraded versions of 850 & BR 1050 scrubber/dryer series Nilfisk-Advance has introduced significantly upgraded versions of its BR 850 and BR 1050 series of ride-on scrubber/dryers. The existing versions of these heavy-duty commercial and industrial units have established a reputation for reliability and performance since their introduction some five years ago. The new platform is intended to bring them in line with the company's latest developments regarding feature improvements. Amongst the upgraded features are; improved drive and rear wheel traction, an innovative new squeegee concept that offers faster and better water pick-up, a re-designed recovery tank inlet system, and a new more reliable foot pedal concept. The existing product features are unchanged. These include a modular scrub deck system with four different scrub options, the EDS-ECO Dosage Solution (in the EDS versions) that offers precise detergent metering and water savings of up to 50%, the company's OneTouch control for all functions that reduces risk of operator error, and the QuickChange system for fast and easy access to serviceable parts. The units offer cost-effective and productive cleaning of large area floors at a rate of up to 5800 m2 per hour. Typical end user applications for this range of scrubber/dryers include shopping malls, airports, hospitals, supermarkets, warehouses, manufacturing plants, and similar large-area cleaning applications. In announcing the upgraded products, a company spokesperson commented: "This new platform of products means that we are offering machines with known and proven reliability and performance, to which have been added further relevant user benefits. The improvements are in line with feed-back from our global customer base, meaning that we are now able to add even more value to our customers¡¦ businesses." write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Construction News :: home page |
