| Vinci to upgrade drinking water supply and treatment in Jamaica Vinci Construction Grands Projets was recently awarded the first phase of the contract to upgrade drinking water supply and treatment for the town of Kingston, the capital of Jamaica, by the NWC (National Water Commission). The contract is worth €51 million. The work involves laying 19 km of pipes and upgrading two water treatment stations. WMI, subsidiary of Vinci Construction Grands Projets, will be responsible for optimising management of the network. The works will start early April 2010 and will last 24 months.
