| SNC-Lavalin awarded project in Saskatchewan SNC-Lavalin announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for SaskPower's Boundary Dam Integrated Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) Demonstration Project. The project involves transforming an aging unit at the coal-fired Boundary Dam Power Station near Estevan, Saskatchewan, into a source of clean electricity. This will be one of the world's first and largest commercial scale carbon capture plants. For this project, SNC-Lavalin will be working with Cansolv, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shell Global Solutions, which will supply the carbon capture process design technology.
