| New line of technologically advanced metal halide lamps Shat-R-Shield, a manufacturer of shatter-resistant lamps, announced their new line of technologically advanced metal halide lamps. The new CDM (Ceramic Discharge Metal Halide) lamps are designed for direct retrofitting applications and are energy-efficient without compromising light quality and performance. It's imperative that lighting systems be both eco-friendly and energy-efficient for operation in today's commercial and industrial facilities. Shat-R-Shield's new line of four CDM lamps offers long life (20,000 hrs.), which translates into reduced maintenance and relamping costs, plus there are naturally fewer lamps to recycle. A 330-watt CDM lamp compared to a standard 400-watt quartz model features an energy savings of 18%. Based on that number, the energy savings can be substantial over the lamp's rated life. Lamp performance is unsurpassed with crisp white light, 100 lumens per watt, and excellent color rendering up to 90 CRI. The line of high-efficiency CDM lamps is offered in two bulb sizes (ED37 and ED28); two wattages (330 and 205 watts); and two bulb finishes (clear and frosted). Shat-R-Shield lamps are UL-EPH classified, NSF certified, and meet safety regulations in the US, Canada, and Mexico - including FDA, OSHA, ASME, and CFIA. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Construction News :: home page |
