| SL 82 Streamline, an all-glass folding door  With its elegant design, the SL 82 Streamline, an all-glass folding door, had no problems convincing the international jury of the "International Forum Design" and swooped the much sought after iFproduct design award 2010 for its glazing solution. SL 82 Streamline from Solarlux was selected from 2,486 entries sent in from 39 countries. The prize is awarded by the expert jury based on 12 evaluation criteria including design quality, processing, material selection and the innovation of the product. The folding glass door distinguished for its high design quality impresses with its harmonious, svelte design, minimalist accents and innovative technology. Characteristic of the all-glass look are the smooth, uninterrupted glass panels and the integrated stainless steel long escutcheon of the profile cylinder. Insulated profiles combine with triple glazing to ensure what is currently very high thermal insulation. This allows the folding glass door to attain a U-value of 1.2 and fulfil the requirements of the latest German Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV). The high-quality stainless steel running technology ensures extremely easy opening and closing of the glass panels resulting in large room openings without thresholds which allow the interior and exterior world to become one. The SL 82 Streamline opens completely new perspectives for the world of modern architecture.
