| SNC-Lavalin awarded contract in Abu Dhabi Canada's SNC-Lavalin announced that it has been awarded a contract by GASCO (Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd.), a subsidiary of ADNOC, for front-end-engineering and pre-front-end-engineering (FEED and pre-FEED) studies for a Nitrogen Injection (NGI), in addition to a Nitrogen Breakthrough and Nitrogen Rejection (NBNR) and Carbon dioxide Recovery and Injection (CRI) project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The contract has an estimated value of over $10 million. The studies will cover three areas: the FEED work will cover high pressure nitrogen injection, high pressure CO2 injection for enhanced oil recovery into oil/rich condensate gas reservoirs for reservoir pressure maintenance. The NBNR pre-FEED work will cover nitrogen breakthrough and its impact on the existing Habshan gas plants, and identify the cost-effective nitrogen rejection facilities. write your comments about the article :: © 2010 Construction News :: home page |
